AEROWORKS has a balanced Consortium, consisting of leading academic and private beneficiaries. More specifically, the consortium is assembled by the participation of six leading European universities (Lulea University of Technology – LTU, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – ETHZ, Royal Institute of Technology – KTH, University of Twente – UT, University of Edinburgh – UEDIN, University of Patras – UPAT), two aerial robotics innovation SMEs (Ascending Technologies – ASC, Skybotix – SBX), as well as the service robotics specialists of Alstom Inspection Robotics – AIR and one of the European Power- market leaders Skelleftea Kraft – SKL.
Each partner of the consortium has specific roles, and there is a well- defined value chain that starts from the research efforts conducted within the academic partners and goes all the way up to the robotics-related SMEs, and finally to the end-users that have specified use-cases.
